Dead Or Alive Heading To PC
Tecmo’s pinnacle fighting game is jumping out of consoles and arcades to land on PCs next year. It was reported that Shanda Interactive Entertainment announced that it will debut Dead or Alive Online in mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macao next year.
Team Ninja won’t be under the development helm for the PC title as Lievo Studio will be stepping up to develop Tecmo’s beloved franchise. Tecmo said that Dead or Alive Online will feature the characteristics of an online PC game. No other details were mentioned, but we can assure that it will include rankings, online tournaments, and possibly clans/teams.
DOA: Online is expected to go live before next year’s Beijing Olympic Games. A worldwide release is also expected at a later date.
Fortunately, a sequel to the Dead or Alive movie was not announced.
