New Sony Pirate MMO Sets Sail

Ahoy Mateys! Exciting news coming out from Sony Online Entertainment, they've partnered with Flying Lab Software, an independent game developer, to release the new game Pirates of the Burning Sea.

The MMO, lets you be, that's right, a pirate! This is not to be confused, however, with the Disney game Pirates Online, ok? These are different pirates. Not from the Caribbean, but from the mythical Burning Sea.

While Flying Lab will design the game and retain all of the control over content, Platform Publishing, which is a subsidiary of Sony Online Entertainment will help with marketing and distribution.

Pirates of the Burning Sea is due to hit stores this fall.
