Playstation Portable PDA?
To be honest, we love our gadgets/games here at Video Game Community so much that we sometimes try to talk to them. For example, the PSP:
"Oh Peeps (PSP nickname, don’t ask) you do so much for us. You playback our movies, music, pictures and even let us surf the web. Oh, you want GPS capabilities? Oh wait, you play games too? Wait, wait, what DO you do exactly?? I...I’m so confused…"
SCEE game director Tony Buckley said in an interview with CVG that the PSP is indeed a multimedia gadget, not just built for gaming. "I think we should be focusing on how to fully utilize what I think it quite a sophisticated piece of kit," he said.
Buckley also mentions how PSP games should be made:
"It’s such a great machine with so much functionality, you’ve just got to focus on how the games can build on that functionality, rather than on whether a game was built completely for PSP."
Huh? Now we are even more confused. Instead of just asking developers to make stellar games, you want them to also keep in mind that they can also play "Sexy Back" on it. And keep tabs on their dentist appointments?
For now with games such as God of War: Chains of Olympus and the Castlevania remake coming up for the PSP, we’re just looking forward to actually playing games on our pretty portable.
We still love you Peeps
