Movie Games Make Loot
Have you ever wondered why every movie that comes out seems to have a slipshod videogame attached to it? The answer to that eternal question is the same as the answer to most of life's mysteries: Money. Basically, movie games, bad or not, tend to make people a lot of dough.
"We license large-scale, mass-market properties because they have great potential in the marketplace," Robin Kaminsky, executive vice president of Activision, told MSNBC.

Movie games are often not affected by reviews as well; Pirates of the Caribbean fans want to play the game in spite of what Joe Reviewer says.
